All change the river is not playing the game. In the red, closed from diglis basin, fast flowing and rising thou it has leveled today. We are safely on a floating pontoon which has risen about 8" another 20ft to go so no need to panic yet!!. No more rain forecast after today so should be OK . Just have to keep an eye on it and stay here longer.
Well, who would have thought the river would be in red? Didn't think there'd been enough rain, must be those dratted Welsh hill again.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your eye problems, Sheila. What a pain (literally!) If it's any consolation, I couldn't wear my lenses for about 6 months after my fall, as I couldn't lift my arm high enough to put them in. Hope yours heals really quickly.
It's really good to see where you are. I can picture you sitting having your afternoon tea on the river side. Now that I've bookmarked this blog page I'll check more often.

Don't worry if the river rises. Mooring in the High Street will make shopping easier!
