Winsford to Northwich (River Weaver)

Going in Vale Royal Lock
Down and out Vale Royal Lock
Got up early and went up to Aldi and Asda to get our supplies.  Back to the boat, then set off back up the canal, under the low bridge, past the Vale Royal Moorings and they were empty and onto Vale Royal Lock, a boat had just come through, so the lock was ready for us, in we went and down the lock and on up the river to the next lock.

Going into Hunt's Lock
Hunt’s lock, that lock was ready for us too, so in we went and down the lock and out onto the river, there was a boat moored up on the side and untied as we came out of the lock, we thought he was coming into the lock, but no, he turned in front of us and went back up the canal!
Down and out of Hunt's Lock
On around the corner to Northwich and wanted to moor up, the moorings were really full, but there was one space and we must squeezed in.  When we were here a few days ago, there was only us and one other boat, so you never can tell.  We moored up, then went up the town to the butchers and then went for lunch in a really nice café, we had tapas, it was really good.
Walked back to the boat, then just chilled out for the rest of the day.  We are heading up the other end of the river tomorrow, so looking forward to that.
